Dr. Ray first started down on the southside of Brisbane in Logan, where he was instrumental in the writing many course materials for tertiary institutions and the establishment of a registered training organization.

Over his almost 40 years Dr. Ray continues to perfect his skills as a mentor, tax agent, business leader, and much more. Furthermore, he was a Lecturer in accounting, business studies, commercial and business law, mathematics, aviation management, and many of other subjects. Prior to setting up Sierra Accounting & Consulting PL, Dr. Ray had set up a practice in Logan in 1981.
He is currently the CEO/CFO for Sierra Accounting & Consulting Pty Ltd in Cairns and has almost 40 years’ experience in the strategic and operational financial management of diverse and complex organisations. He has even run aviation companies, has lectured at several universities, has contributed to a radio show and has published magazine articles
